Located to the north of the city, Yucatan Siglo XXI Convention Center, is an icon that reflects the greatness of Mayan architecture. It has a privileged location, 25 minutes from the downtown and the international airport.

Opening Ceremony

Yucatan International Congress Center, started operations in 2018 and is located in the “Convention District”.

It is located just 20 minutes from the Merida International Airport, and close to the emblematic Paseo de Montejo.

With more than 2,000 available rooms, within a 600-meter radius, guests can enjoy the hall of the city downtown, which offers an extensive cultural program, 365 days a year with a wide variety of restaurants, bars, museums and more entertainment.

GRAN MUSEO MUNDO MAYA (GRAND MUSEUM OF THE MAYAN WORLD)

Keynote Presentation

Next to the Convention Center, you will find the Gran Museo del Mundo Maya, where you can enjoy the Mayan history and tradition that is still remains in our roots.

 The Museum exhibits a magnificent collection of more than 1,160 pieces, that let you enjoy textiles, religious elements, objects and equipment that reflect the current daily life of the Mayan culture.

Engravings, books and historical documents are also shown, as well as artistic and religious works from the colonial era; Pre-Hispanic heritage collections that include mayan stelaes, bas- reliefs and stone sculptures; ceramic vessels, accessories and offerings, as well as ornaments and sumptuous objects of gold, jade and shell. All this forms a framework in which the past and the present are combined through new technologies and digital systems to allow the visitor to time travel and return to the present.
